KNOW YOUR SKIN
Cleansing the skin is one of the most integral aspects of skin care for any women. Even if your skin is acne-free and flawless! Even the "perfect" may not be perfect. Normal skin needs love too! Without diligent and proper care, normal skin can loose its perfect balance. So why spoil the good thing? Normal skin may not have problems, but it, like the rest of your body, it needs optimum nutrition to maintain its gorgeous glow. You still need to work a facial cleansing product into your routine. With the right cleanser, your skin will stay smooth, balanced , and free of excess oil and dirt.
Some women find it unnecessary to cleanse their skin, so, they skip it. as they feel it makes their skin feel tight and stretched. Very often, they neglect to wash their faces when they get home at midnight after a party, and going straight to bed. In doing so,they allow all that oil and makeup to sit on their skin all night long, clogging their pores!
This creates a number of issues that could have been easily prevented with the proper cleansing routine.Not cleansing the skin for one evening won't necessarily spell disaster for your skin, but if it turns into a habit, it certainly will! Time to find a cleanser, and the right one!
Exfoliating cleansers ( contain beads or other small particles ) - For clogged pores, scrubs off dead skin cells. Use daily for problem skin, once a week as a maintenance cleansing. *Do not use if you have dry or easily irritated skin.
Soap-free cleansers - For acne sufferers, sensitive to soap in their bath products. ( made with anti-acne ingrdients, such as salicylic acid or glycolic acid or benzoyl peroxide ) This helps to eliminate the irritation of soap, controlling your acne.
Moisturizing cleanser - For super-dry skin but do not have a problem with acne. It reduces the uncomfortable feeling and make it less necessary to apply handfuls of lotion to your face after washing.
Gentle cleansers - For normal skin, so that it stays fresh and pretty for life!
